MASSENA MAN ALLEGEDLY DAMAGED CORVETTE, BAILED OUT OF JAIL—Massena Police went to a call about 11:25 Saturday night on Willow Street, after 51-year-old Martin Maxwell of Willard Road allegedly drove his vehicle into another; the second vehicle was forced into a garage door. A Corvette stored in the garage was reportedly pushed through the back of the building. Maxwell was charged with three, felony counts of second degree criminal mischief, and lesser counts of resisting arrest and leaving the scene of a property damage accident. Village Justice Eric Gustafson sent Maxwell to the St.Lawrence County lockup on 5-thousand-dollars cash bail. The bail was posted Sunday and Maxwell was let go until a future court date.
