POTSDAM COMPREHENSIVE PLAN COMMITTEE KEEPS RECOMMENDATION ON EMPLOYER-ASSISTED HOUSING--The Committee agreed Thursday large employers like the universities and Canton-Potsdam Hospital should help workers find ways to obtain housing in the Village. CPH has done this with great success by owning many residential properties in its neighborhood. Committee Member Kaen Collins says employers don't need to help so much with housing costs, it's the taxes that many seeking to move into the village find intolerable.
