CONVICTED SEX OFFENDER JAILED WITHOUT BAIL AFTER THREAT WITH A HAMMER IN MASSENA--Village Police arrested 37-year-old Skelly Crowell Monday night on numerous counts alleging his role in a dispute on Malby Avenue. He was found to be wanted for allegedly failing to register his address under "Megan's Law;" information about Crowell is not on the state listings. The police blotter entry shows Crowell was charged with felony failure to register, meaning he has been convicted of doing such in the past. Crowell was arraigned before Town Justice James Crandall and committed until future court dates.
