    POTSDAM SCHOOL BOARD TO CONSIDER POLICY CHANGE TO ALLOW FOR PHILLIPS MEMORIAL—Superintendent Pat Brady told the board Tuesday the family of Garrett Phillips, the seventh grader who died by an as-yet unsolved homicide last October, has made an informal request for some kind of memorial at the school. Brady says there was no policy on memorialization, and there is one in development--not just for the Phillips request specifically but for all those that may come in the future.  Brady says there will likely be one spot for memorials of those who died while Potsdam Central students. The policy will state a scholarship in the name of the deceased will be the most optimal form of memorial.
