GOUVERNEUR STABBING INVESTIGATED, ARREST EXPECTED SOON—Village Police confirmed this morning a 20-year-old male received what was reported to be a wound from a “small folding knife” about 10:50 last Thursday night in the neighborhood of the Gouverneur Public Library near Church and John Streets. The man received surgery at EJ Noble Hospital and was released. No further details have been issued pending the outcome of the investigation and the arrest, expected in the near future
NORWOOD MAN CHARGED WITH FELONY ASSAULT AFTER BASEBALL BAT BEATING—State Police say 21-year-old Gerald Dissottle, Jr. allegedly pounded another man, age 26 many times with the bat during a roadside dispute on Route 37. Dissottle was arraigned and jailed on 5-thousand-dollars cash bail.
ROLLOVER CRASH IN NORFOLK BRINGS INJURY, JAIL FOR SOUTH CAROLINA WOMAN—Massena-based State Police say 36-year-old Courtney Errigo allegedly rolled a vehicle containing two small children off County Route 39 Monday. She was arraigned on two Leandra's Law counts for alleged drunk driving over a .18 BAC with the two children, plus many other charges. Errigo was arraigned and jailed on 15-thousand-dollars cash or 30-thousand-dollars bond.
