    COUNTY LEGISLATOR FROM MADRID SAYS “YOU CAN KISS THAT GAMBLING MONEY GOODBYE”--Kevin Acres told the rest of the St. Lawrence County Board of Legislators Monday the county needs to learn how to get along without the 1.5-to-3-million-dollars in revenue from the St. Regis Mohawk Tribe that is past due the county. The majority of legislators voted Monday to put a law firm on retainer, in the event it chooses to litigate against the Tribe. Chair Sallie Brothers says both the Tribe and Legislators tried to negotiate with no results.
