POTSDAM TOWN COUNCIL AGREES LAND OFFER NEEDS MORE STUDY—The owner of the vacant property behind the strip mall that holds Tractor Supply, bordered at the rear by the Potsdam-Morley Road wants to give the Town the land for free. Supervisor Marie Regan says the loss of the tax revenue to the Town and Potsdam School District, plus the limited viability of the land are serious considerations that must be weighed. Regan says the premise the land has the potential for a ball field or a park does not wash.
