POTSDAM SCHOOL BOARD FINANCE COMMITTEE CHAIR SKEPICAL OF STATE PENSION STABILIZATION PLAN—Pat Turbett told the rest of the the committee Tuesday the temptation is strong to put more money from fund balance into the budget, with the knowledge the state would keep pension contribution rates even for the next five years. However, he is not secure enough in the state's long-term savings forecast. Potsdam Central is looking at a preliminary, draft deficit of more than a million dollars in 2013-2014.
